This week, our GIT IT content is a called “Acronym Soup.” One definition of acronym is “an abbreviation formed from the initial letters of other words and pronounced as a word,” Acronyms can be considered different from abbreviations in that abbreviations are letters used to represent the whole like UFBL (Universal Foundation for Better Living) while acronyms are in and of themselves a word like LENT (Let’s Eliminate Negative Thinking). Surely over the years, you have come across many acronyms, including those we use as UFBL-affiliated groups. Here are some I have either run across or created.
